Global metrics

RQA supports two new metrics. In this case, it’s not just checking the quality of individual requirements one by one, but checking the global consistency of the requirements specification:

  • Coupling matrix: checking for similar requirements in the specification looking for inconsistencies, redundant information or just requirements that must be traced
  • Use of inconsistent set of units: alerting when the same projects includes two conflicting set of measurement units such us yards in one requirement, and kilometers or meters in another
