Quality assessment for an individual requirement
An administrator of the tool can change the quality level of a requirement manually, regardless the automatic assessment performed by RQA.
RQA includes a chat system for every individual requirement to allow authors and reviewers to leave their comments about the quality of the requirement.
RQA supports two new metrics. In this case, it’s not just checking the quality of individual requirements one by one, but checking the global consistency of the requirements specification:
- Coupling matrix: checking for similar requirements in the specification looking for inconsistencies, redundant information or just requirements that must be traced
- Use of inconsistent set of units: alerting when the same projects includes two conflicting set of measurement units such us yards in one requirement, and kilometers or meters in another
