The connection could not be established

Hello Javier,

we get the message(“The connection could not be established”) if we tray to connect to the new Database on our SQL Server.

Our IT Support found a Database on your Homepage, we installed the Database on our SQL Server and with this Database the connection could be established. Do we need this Database? I do not found anything in the Installaion Guide.

We provide a database connection to three different database managers at this moment:
- MS ACCESS DB
- SQLServer
- MySQL

The ACCESS DB is included in the installation of RQS Server, but the SQLServer and MySQL don’t. The backups for them are in our website. As you can imagine, the databases must follow a specific structure, so it is necessary to use the one we provide. That is the reason that it worked and the connection could be established.

Remember that the version of the tools and the database MUST be the same one.
