The Universidad Europea de Madrid offers the first Master's Degree in Systems Engineering in Spain.
The post-graduate master's degree aims to project or program managers, technical directors, chief engineers, engineers and consultants. It's the first official Master's Degree in Spain with a multidisciplinary approach and it counts with the collaboration of some big technological Spanish companies and AEIS, the Spanish chapter of INCOSE. The Universidad Europea wants to offer a specialized training program for the students to be able to work with all the stages of the complex systems's life cycle, from requirements and design through implementation and deployment, ending with modernization and retirement of the system in line with the evolution of projects in Spain and the rest of the world.
Leopoldo Santos is the manager of the master's degree and his opinion is that Systems Engineering is a field that keeps on growing and until now it didn't exist an appropriate educational framework, that's why the Universidad Europea wanted to provide this education to meet the demand of the industry. This degree already exists in many countries and it gives the students the possibility to work in the most important engineering companies in our country.
In this first edition of the Master's Degree 40 students will be admitted and the admission period is open until the end of September.
