If the connection area for KM is disabled, it might be due to the type of login.There are two kinds of login:
- Knowledge Manager Security: this type of login will ask for the KM credentials with every new session.
- Active Directory Integration: this type of login allows a continuous session by storing your KM credentials, avoiding introducing them every time KM is opened. However, it might happen that the saved credentials are the database credentials, and not the KM ones, which will prevent you from logging in.
Go to the settings tab, and select the Validation Rules area. Switch to
Knowledge Manager Security and click
Apply.
