As The REUSE Company continues expanding its presence in North America, we are proud to welcome Hubertus Tummescheit as our new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for The REUSE Company North America.
A recognized expert in systems modeling, simulation, and engineering integration, Hubertus brings more than two decades of experience working with global clients and advancing cross-industry standards in model-based systems engineering.
A Strong Track Record in Systems Innovation
Hubertus co-founded Modelon AB in 2004, helping it grow into a global leader in systems modeling. Most recently, he served as Chief Solutions Officer and Managing Director at Modelon US, and in 2024, launched Model Based Innovation LLC, offering strategic support for model-based product design.
He has also played a key role in shaping modeling standards, including serving on the Modelica Association Board and the FMI Steering Committee. His contributions to open-source and commercial toolkits in energy and thermo-fluid domains are widely recognized within the systems engineering community.
Hubertus holds a PhD in Automatic Control from Lund University and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from TU Hamburg-Harburg. He is fluent in German, English, and Swedish, with conversational Spanish and French.
In The REUSE Company, he is focused on helping engineering organizations adopt semantic interoperability, smart technical management, and model-based engineering, without disrupting their existing tool ecosystems.
He works closely with customers across industries to improve traceability, lifecycle integration, and project performance through tailored solutions built on The REUSE Company’s suite of tools.
