Rational DOORS and the SES ENGINEERING Studio

Rational DOORS and quality management
For quality management, the connector to IBM Rational DOORS allows you to define, measure, improve, and manage the quality of your requirements specifications within the systems engineering process. The REUSE Company offers a specialized version that works with the IBM DOORS requirements tool: RQA -QUALITY Studio for DOORS. This tool uses a wide set of metrics to assess the quality of a requirements specification, mainly Correctness, Consistency and Completeness (CCC). While individual metrics are suitable to assess the correctness of a single requirement, global metrics can assess the consistency and correctness of a set of specifications. The global metrics covered by RQA – QUALITY Studio for DOORS are coupling, inconsistency, and missing requirements, and can be applied to any kind of requirement types, for example, functional requirements.

RQA – QUALITY Studio for DOORS relies on the IBM Rational DOORS authentication system: every user in RQA – QUALITY Studio for DOORS can only work with projects, modules, and requirements through a valid access via IBM Rational DOORS.
