The Model-Based Space Systems and Software Engineering (MBSE 2025) workshop will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania, from November 5 to 7, 2025.

About MBSE 2025

Organized by the Innovation Agency Lithuania, ESA BIC Lithuania, and Starion Group, the event brings together experts from space agencies, industry, and academia to explore how Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) improves collaboration, efficiency, and data integrity in the space domain.

Sessions and panels will focus on:

  • The adoption of SysML v2 and next-generation modeling languages
  • Federated data exchange and interoperability across organizations
  • Digital continuity and lifecycle management for complex space systems
  • Practical MBSE case studies from European space missions

You’ll find us at Booth #10 joining engineers, researchers, and decision-makers shaping the future of model-based engineering in the space sector.Throughout the workshop, our team will showcase how SES ENGINEERING Studio and its semantic add-ins connect requirements, models, and documentation across 50+ tools. We’ll also discuss supplier collaboration and data exchange areas where our Interoperability Hub delivers proven results.

Most importantly, we look forward to exchanging ideas with representatives from ESA, prime contractors, and academic partners on building trustworthy, model-centric engineering workflows.

Our Approach to MBSE

At The REUSE Company, MBSE goes beyond building system models, it’s about having a shared engineering ecosystem where systems, subsystems, and suppliers communicate through a common semantic language.

Our solutions emphasize semantic interoperability to connect engineering artifacts beyond syntax, promote knowledge reuse across projects, and ensure quality and consistency in both requirements and models from the earliest stages.

By maintaining traceability and digital continuity throughout the lifecycle, this approach enables more reliable and collaborative model-based development, particularly valuable for large, distributed space programs.

Why MBSE Matters

The space industry is rapidly evolving toward digital engineering ecosystems.
Standards such as SysML v2, ECSS E-TM-10-25, and ISO 15288 highlight that data interoperability and model traceability are essential to managing complexity.

MBSE 2025 provides a platform to exchange practical experiences, test new ideas, and align on best practices across Europe, an effort that aligns with The REUSE Company’s effort to make engineering knowledge more accessible, reusable, and interoperable across tools, teams, and organizations.
