The REUSE Company is proud to participate in the 35th Annual INCOSE International Symposium, taking place from July 7 to 10, 2025, at the Shaw Centre in Ottawa, Canada. As a Bronze Sponsor, we’re excited to engage with the global systems engineering community and contribute to this year’s theme: “Empowering a Digital Future through Systems Engineering.”

This leading international event gathers experts from industries such as aerospace, automotive, defense, energy, and healthcare. Attendees can expect four days of technical sessions, networking opportunities, and discussions focused on the future of complex system development and digital transformation.

You’ll find us at Booth #607–609, where we’ll showcase live demos of our tools designed to help you maintain a continuous digital thread, improve traceability, and foster collaboration across your engineering ecosystem.

Sponsor track Presentation: Interoperability as an Enabler for System Lifecycle Digitalization Management

As part of our sponsorship, José Fuentes (COO) and Ilyes Yousfi (Key Account Manager) will deliver a short presentation titled “Interoperability as an Enabler for System Lifecycle Digitalization Management.” A session that will explore how The REUSE Company’s semantic technologies are unlocking true interoperability across the engineering lifecycle.

Paper: A New Angle on Acquisition Modeling

We’re also proud to share that a paper by Christer Fröling, CEO of REUSE Scandinavia, has been officially selected for presentation. His work explores how the COSYSMO 2.0 model, combined with acquisition best practices, can strengthen cost estimation and benchmarking throughout complex systems projects.

Our approach:

Modern Systems Engineering projects embrace a wide array of information sources, tools, file formats, modeling languages, and repositories, each optimized for a specific purpose. This diversity creates a significant challenge: how to maintain traceability and a continuous digital thread across the entire system life cycle.

At The REUSE Company, we address this challenge through a dual approach:

  • ASoT (Authoritative Source of Truth) ensures that each asset remains in the best-suited tool or repository
  • SSoT (Synchronized Source of Truth) establishes a semantic interoperability layer that connects, aligns, and synchronizes these distributed sources

A suite of Technical Management Processes reinforces these, integrated into the Interoperability Hub, enabling a comprehensive, smart, and digitalized project workflow:

  • Quality Inspection and Assurance
  • SMART Authoring Assistant
  • Verification & Validation Digitalization
  • Decision Management
  • Configuration Management
  • Information Management
  • Knowledge Management
Six pillars on which our interoperability strategy is built on

With this approach, we help engineering teams build a resilient and synchronized ecosystem, ensuring that the right information is always accessible, traceable, and aligned with project goals throughout the lifecycle.
